A few days ago, I went shopping for household necessities at a supermarket near my house. While standing in line to pay at the cashier, I saw a married couple right behind me. They are an older couple. I briefly observed the husband and wife. The wife looked beautiful for her age, while the husband appeared ordinary but clean and well-groomed.
While waiting in line, the wife was seen checking their shopping items, which did not appear to be too many. I noticed they were buying some vegetables and fruits. Suddenly, the wife grabbed a bag of pears, quickly tore the plastic, and said to her husband, “Why did you buy three? I already told you to get only two.”
