Come to think of it, manifestation is the most paradoxical concept. I didn’t always see it this way, though. Just like many people, I used to think manifesting was about acquiring all your heart’s desires by working hand-in-hand with the Law of the Universe (or rather known as Law of Attraction).
Vision boards, positive affirmations, and scripting were my go-to tools as to how it was widely taught, and I genuinely believed they were the secret to bringing dreams into reality. But as I went deeper into the process, something surprising began to reveal itself. To gain, I realized, is to let go. Isn’t that funny?
At first glance, it sounds absurd. I mean, letting go? Isn’t manifestation about attracting things, not releasing them? But the deeper I dug, the clearer it became: to manifest, you have to release the self-limiting beliefs, the resistance, the fear, the past trauma, and the old narrative stories you’ve been telling yourself. Letting go of these blockages is far more important than any vision board session or affirmation recital.
