It’s Monday morning, the day our culture believes to be the first day of the week that creates the energy of busyness which brings resistance to some. No wonder they shout loudly, “I hate Monday!”
But not for me. My Monday even runs slower and feels more relaxing after I received a message from a client who rescheduled our today’s meeting, allowing me to have an hour longer for myself.
After doing a little cleaning of the house, as usual, I sat on my favorite spot on the couch with a hot cup of coffee in hand, a flaky croissant on my plate, and the fresh flowers I picked up yesterday after power walk from my fave florist. The sky was clear, the air was crisp, and the hum of life outside seemed to slow down for a moment.
Gently, I turned on my laptop as if I was ready to do a sacred confession. Slowly, I finished my coffee and croissant while preparing for my heart to confess.
